) Still after some more research, my wife, and kids all agreed that the Contemporary is what we all want to stay at.
We are staying off sight for this trip. Seeing we'll be down for 3 weeks it was the only way to be able to afford it. Also on the budget, its crazy how much WDW vacations cost. I priced out a Disney Cruise and it was thousands of dollars cheaper (admittedly we're staying in WDW for 9 days vs. a 5 day cruise). I will be completely honest though and say that if Disney keeps reducing the incentives to stay onsite, we may stay at a resort off property after this next vacation comes and goes.
We stay offsite at least once per year and never feel like we are missing anything. We like to do UNi. and SeaWorld and offsite works well for those trips. I have found a place we like a lot (though we both really like trying new places) and will be staying there for the third time soon. The bubble is fine, but not a thing wrong with staying offsite. I am our CPO as well, but I am just the opposite. I don't obsess or worry much about, and usually do our planning last minute as I find we get some good options that way. Now, with us not having kids, and a highly flexible schedule, that makes it easier to put off planning, and waiting without worry. Guess I am as laid back about planning as I am hanging by a pool reading a book. Speaking of books, I am right in the middle of an interesting one, "Water For Elephants."
I'm always the one doing the planning. But I check with DW to see what special things she wants to include in the plans. Then right after I book I'm always rethinking my decisions. But then after a moment I calm down, take a breath and say everythings going to be OK cause youve done it before and it has always worked out just fine. Even if I messed up somewhere...we're at Disney and we can deal with it. Not going to be the first or last time I blew a call and had to readjust things on the fly. And DW isnt one to blow her top when DH messes up.
Trust yourself that you prepared well, and in the event you got something wrong, just relax, be flexible and have a plan B ready. You got 3 glorious weeks to enjoy yourselves. Its going to be fine.

My husband and I are going this September, and now that 2016 rates are out, I'm really considering booking a solo trip (unless my mom or husband want to go with) for the beginning of September of next year. This would be the first time ever that I've gone to Disney World two years in a row! My major concerns are the money and place to stay. I was hoping that I could wait until October to try and rent DVC points for Bay Lake Tower, but I wanna' book now!!!
I think depending on the time of year you go, the incentives are like 25 to 30 percent for deluxe resorts, 20% for moderate and less then that for the value resorts.
