I want to book a room for some friends but it's also cheaper to book it as if i'm staying there. Can i do the for myself option and not actualy have to stay there? What is my best course of action.

I wouldnt book the room as if you are in it unless you are actually staying with them. I do not really know if they check, but its only 10 % difference and if I were you I wouldnt risk what might happen if you do get caught. Just some friendly advice

If it's a CM room, they ask for CM ID at check in. You're CP, no?
Don't risk your job over 10%.
They will fire CPs for any sort of thing like that, and if you've never stayed at a WDW resort as a CM - well, that's a battle in and of itself just to be treated like a human being at some of them (GF!!!).
