I guess I'm being a bit selfish

Maybe thats not the words im looking for, let me explain.

For the past few years now ive been looking into going to WDW for vacation, and everything that could happen to me did. No money, losing a job, what ever it was it was there to slap me in the face so to speak. Now because of things out of my control ive been offered to in CA and start the next half of my life out there.

I havnt been to DL in about 15 years at least. Should i be expecting to have "less" fun at DL then at WDW. Right now im thinking i might not be as happy there as i would going to WDW. Am i wrong? Im not looking to be SOLD on DL because I know once i get there ill be happy that im there and be grateful I can go everyday if i so wished.

I have been to both WDW and DL. As much as I love WDW DL will always be my park. In the last 15 years it has changed of course and now with the addition of DCA it has become even better. I look at WDW and DL differently because each has it's own special attraction.

Don't let it be a downer. I am sure you will be just as happy at DL as you would be if you went to WDW. Who knows maybe down the road you will finally get to visit WDW as well. You are fortunate in that you are close to at least one set of parks. Many people have to travel for days just to get to a park and others never get a chance to visit a park at all.

You know bob your right, I am lucky. Ive just been so down latly. Moving to another state, my birthday that everyone has seemed to forget is coming up, and the passing of my mother 8 years ago isnt helping a bit. Im leaving my friends, the ones ive kept very close to me over the years since I was 5 years old, now i have to start all over.

Its just a funk i KNOW IT but it sucks right now lol
