I am not much of a Coaster fan

When I was in the Magic Kingdom just over a week ago I did ride Space Mountain a few times. What can people see in this attraction? It was dark I could not see a thing, I seem to remember before the big refurbish there was much more.

It's supposed to be dark. Before the referb you could see the supports a little. Now it's totally enclosed.

I understand your pain, astro digital (though I don't feel it).

My daughter also is not a coaster fan, and absolutely refuses to ride space mtn. She has ridden EE once and hated it, and has recently discovered she enjoys big thunder mtn. I think the dark just freaks her out a bit. I think there are other people who feel the same as you about space mtn: "what's the attraction to this attraction?"

Now, me??? Space Mtn. is my favorite ride in all of WDW. No matter how many times I ride it, I never know what's going to happen next, and it just makes it more fun when it dips and curves and jerks. No, it's not the most intense coaster ever made, but it makes me laugh til I cry every time. What could be more fun than laughing til you cry?

Yea its the best space mt I've ever been on, but I've only been on two. And yes its a classic ride and its amazing. Its gonna take some getting used to for me with the new line and not being able to see the coaster anymore. But its still a great classic ride.

Haven't been on the new one yet - but I've never been a Space Mountain fan either. I'm not a big coaster person too. I just don't like sitting by myself - I like to cling to my husband on coasters. I also hate being in the dark and getting whipped around. The outdoor coasters I enjoy a bit more. :)
