I am being asked to do a POET (post offer employment test)

I have been hired for custodial and was sent information that I needed to take a poet before finalizing. Has anyone else done this test? What exactly is it for and what does it consist of? Kind of ridiculous!

I actually took it last week. Its not hard. They're just trying to make sure you can handle the job. The actual test is very short. 15 minutes max. Waiting is the sucky part. They really just test your endurance with lifting heavy things and pushing heavy stuff and to make sure you can repeat the same motion for a certain amount of time. Nothing difficult.
