Hypothetical Booking Situation

Greetings

Hypothetically speaking at the moment - if one were to make a booking for a WDW trip through the main Disney website say a year in advance, complete with flights, resort accommodation, tickets, dining plans and everything else you need, how easy or hard is it to amend said booking to add an additional person later on, should the need arise?

The flights may be the biggest issue

If you book it without flights, it's very easy to add an additional person to the reservation. (presuming adding the person won't exceed the maximum occupancy for the room)

You can even do it right up until a few days before the trip without paying a change fee even though its inside 45 days, since Disney waives change fees if a change to the package increases its total value.

If the reservation is a package and it's less than 45 days before the trip, be prepared to pay the entire added amount at that time. If it's outside 45 days, the balance-due by the 45-day mark just increases.
