We'll...we're booked!!! Luckily, our waiting time is over the summer, which is fun anyway, so it won't be a dreadful 180 days (well, 173 now I think...but either way). This is a trip where we are trying new restaurants - we tend to get stuck in a rut and eat at the same old places every time. So, we've got a good mix this time of newbies and oldies but goodies
So, here's what we've got going:
Stay at WL September 14-21
Day of Arrival: eating dinner at The Whispering Canyon (didn't realize I get 10% off with my Disney Visa - so I can bank one of my meal plans!)
Day 2: MK - dinner at BOGR!! (so excited - although I thought this was supposed to be a character meal?? Not sure how I missed that message?!?!)
Day 3: Epcot - dinner at Chip and Dale's Harvest Feast Dinner(never tried it before, but have heard wonderful things about it)
Day 4: pool day/ MNSSHP - dinner at Tony's (never been here - excited!). Also, my 3 yo son is trying Pirates League for MNSSHP! I was told he wound like it if he likes getting his hair cut. When they said that I almost laughed out loud becuase every 3-4 weeks my son literally will walk over to my neighbor, who also happens to be our family's hair "stylist" and tell her "Ms. Lynley, I need a haircut" - needless to say, I think he'll do fine. My daughter is doing BBB, but this will be the 3rd time, so the only thing new there will be choosing which princess to be (hmm...decisions decisions...)
Day 5: AK - no reservations (which is also new for us - we usually have a reservation every day- but, we thought we'd bank one because we couldn't choose between the last two...).
Day 6: HS - Fantasmic Dinner package at The Hollywood Brown Derby. Can't say I've never been there because my family at there when I was a kid (20+ years ago). But, this will be the first time our family will have eaten there and this will also be the first time we've been to Fantasmic. And, honestly, this will be the first time we've stayed at HS past ~2 pm...
Day 7: MK for most of the day and then head over the Epcot when they kick us out for MNSSHP - dinner at Le Cellier- not our first time, but too good to pass up - the pretzel bread is already in my dreams...
Day 8 - Back to Omaha and start planning for the next time
