Humphry the Bear

My favorite character is Humphry the bear. He was in several Disney shorts which appeared on the Wonderfull World of Disney back in the 70's. Humphry is from Canada and is found in the Canadian National Parks. He acts like he's dumb but in reality he smart in his own way.

I was wondering if any one has seen Humphry anywhere at Walt Disney World?

The only place I've seen Humphrey is in the MAGIC KINGDOM UTILIDORS.

There is a poster signifying where costume changing/characters are per land, and one sign shows a few Country Bears with Humphrey. I am not aware of a Humphrey walkaround, but needless to say, he showed up on that sign.

When I was a cp in 2002 I saw some humphrey merchandise when I stayed at the wilderness lodge. I haven't been to the lodge since 2002 so I don't know if they still have it. Also, I think I may have seen some humphrey stuff in the frontierland trading post in the magic kingdom in november of last year. I'm not 100% sure though about the trading post because we didn't go inside just looked in the windows to see who was working because I worked in frontierland.:)

I am sorry but i have never seen Humphrey around WDW, but I
wish i had. I am just writting to tell you thankyou for asking about humphrey. I love him , he is so funny, and i had forgotten all about him til your post. Thankyou again.

I just thought I remembered seeing him. I didn't really know his name at the time but I remembered his cartoons from when I was a kid. I just kept thinking "Oh it's that bear!":lol:

Oh I was referring to seeing his merchandise in the wilderness lodge. I never saw him roaming in the magic kingdom. Saw the country bears lots, but never humphrey

If so, I love him. We used to torture my mom with that song. I have never seen him in the parks

I finally found (on Ebay) the VHS which has this epsoide. It's with Winnie the Pooh and Friends.

A few years ago I bought my sister, Humphery and the Ranger beanie babies. All we could do was sing, "First you pick it up put in the bag. Bump Bump!!!"

That is one of my all time favorite cartoons!:sohappy:
