Firstly: Sorry if someone else already had this idea.
Secondly: Maybe it wouldn't work due to the age and relevance of the film... but:

Introducing: TRON

Look at the Vekoma Bike Coaster in the bottom two pictures. Now imagine a those in a huge dark building, with strobing neon, and electronica all around you.

Possible replacement for the Indy Speedway, as it fits to a Tomorrowland theme?

Makes sense! :)

I was looking at the "Tron tunnel" from the PeopleMover at DisneyLand, and was thinking how cool it would be if you actually sped round on a bike in the Tron Universe.

During the queue, you could be broken down and inserted into the computer (Speedramp with lighting effects?) Then you board your bike, and do battle with the Master Control on your bike. Maybe design the track, so you have near misses with other bikes.

There are so many ride ideas you could get from Tron. But I am afraid that people nowadays will look at all the stuff and point and laugh at us, or even worse tilt their heads and go "huh?"

Any idea how you could get the cycles to make those right angle turns?

You know, TRON would make one heck of a dark ride!

No humoring needed. That idea is quite good, as is the planned location. That area would be big enough to accomodate a nice large ride.

I really feel dark-ride coaster mixes are the next wave in disney rides.

I made a plan for a Tron attraction once that could fit in a Circlevision theatre. Plus, the ride could actually be a game. A simulator bike in a CAVE room and there is the whole experience of that ride in a 10 x 10 x 10 room.
