Here's some good news for those of us who are are fans of Hayao Miyazaki's animated films:
Disney has announced they will be releasing Miyazaki's latest film, Howl's Moving Castle, here in the U.S. on June 10th, 2005.
My understanding is that they will be putting out both the original Japanese language version with subtitles (maybe only in the larger markets?) as well as an English dub version featuring the voices of Christian Bale, Emily Mortimer, Jean Simmons, Billy Crystal, Laurne Bacall and Blythe Danner. Disney has done an excellent job with the dubs on Miyazaki's Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke, so I'd expect they have done I first-class job of it here too.
