I am planning a trip to WDW this June. With the normal crowd levels (assuming they are normal), it is imperative to have a plan for touring the parks to maximize your attraction exposure. I am curious how a headliner attraction (like Space Mountain) being down will effect (or is it affect, I'm never sure on that one :hammer
the traffic pattern and touring in general for the MK. Usually, the morning crowds go one of three ways: Space Mountain, Splash/Big Thunder, and Fantasyland. With one third of the major draw gone, what will happen with the crowds? Will twice as many people head for Splash/Big Thunder? Will these people split evenly between the remaining mountains and Fantasyland? Will this make the "right hand" touring rule of going to the right and then counter-clockwise around the park really work? I'm just looking for speculation, obviously. But if anyone has thoughts or experience with park traffic when a huge draw is down, I'd love to hear it.
