JUST CURIOUS ABOUT THIS PAST WEEKS CROWDS (WEEK OF THE 23RD)? I WENT LAST YEAR THE SAME TIME AND I AM PLANNING A 2011 TRIP THE SAME TIME TOO. JUST WONDERING? LAST YEAR THEY WERE VERY MANAGEABLE SINCE SCHOOLS DOWN SOUTH STARTED. THANKS FOR ANY INFO:lol:

I usually got in Oct. & the crowds seemed to be about the same if not lighter due to the fact that the Food and Wine Festival makes the crowd heavy in EPCOT in Oct. We didn't have many wait times for rides and never more than 30 minutes. Of course we are regulars and know what rides to go on at what time of the day.

Was in Animal Kingdom and Everest had less than a 20 minute wait most of the day. Longest we waited was half an hour for Dinosaur. Walked onto Safari/Rapids.

That sounds so awesome! I just was hoping that when I went last year and saw how light the crowds were, that it was a trend and it looks like it might be! I know the heat is crazy, but I am from Philly and I am used to heat and humidity in August.:)

I've been in your area in July & August. Thought I was going to die from the humidity. Florida is a piece of cake compared to that.

I do have to say that the crowds were much lighter last week than they were this week. Thankfully, the intense rain really slowed the crowds. More rides on Splash Mountain for me then! :drevil:

The weather was not great, so we mostly noticed crowds at DTD on the 2 times we headed over there. It was overcast and humid. Crowds at the EC and MK were manageable when we were there.

I was there several evenings this past week and it was great. We walked on most things after 6pm at MK. The longest wait was to see Mickey which was about 15 minutes.

Crowds have been manageable. Most big rides have been under an hour and a few were walk-on, the exceptions being Soarin' and Toy Story (which opened late today, instead of tomorrow as was announced), which got as high as ninety.

I was there the 18th to 26th, and it was about the same as last year.

The only time I was surprised by crowds was when the Indy stunt show filled up & turned people away, on the 19th. But with TSMM shut down maybe people were desperate for something to do at DHS.

I went to EPCOT Saturday night and lines were non-existent, save for Test Track and Soarin. The rain at around 6pm might have been a factor, but the waits in Innoventions and elsewhere around the park where very light before the rain.
