It seems the protests that were an annual occurence died down after the economic downturn in 2001......

The city/county realizes the importance of this event to the economy, and openly supports it.

More parks and hotels are allowing themselves to be "official" hotels, event hosts, or whatever....

In one word....it was uneventful.

I went to PI one night, I heard AC would be a blast, and it was.

My seven year old son and I where there for Star Wars Weekend and other than a lot of red shirts and heavy crowds it was like a normal day at WDW.
