How to maneuver through parks with small children

We are about to leave for our first Disneyworld trip (so excited!) but I'm looking for some advice - we have 3 children, 4, 2, and 8 months. We have rented a double stroller from kingdom strollers and also plan on bringing an umbrella stroller with us, so everyone has a stroller when need be. For my 8 month old, do you think I should also bring a baby carrier to wear her? Or is there no point if I have a stroller for her? I feel like we have SO much stuff already and I'm just not sure if I will really wear her if we have a stroller... any advice is appreciated!!

A most magical welcome! I'd bring the umbrella stroller, is you don't use it for a child you can always use it to push around your gear.

Depends on how you normally transport the littlest. Do you usually wear the baby? If it was me I would skip the umbrella stroller and just have the carrier. Two kids can walk when they want to and the baby can either ride in the stroller or be in the carrier. But that all depends on what your normal routine is. An 8 month old can get very heavy, especially when it's hot. And if you don't normally wear the baby all day it could get uncomfortable.
Are you staying on property? I can't imagine 3 kids and two strollers on the busses. But if you have a car the two strollers might be easier. I might bring both the stroller and carrier and see what you end up wanting after the first day.
Good luck! That sounds like an awesome trip!

I would go with both.

The baby carrier will work great most of the time, especially on attractions, but the umbrella stroller will make nap time much easier. The occasional use of the umbrella stroller can also help cut the fatigue from having an extra 20 lbs strapped to your chest for an entire day.

Same boat as you are in. Traveling with my wife, my sister (15), and our kids, 6 1/2, 4, and 7 months. We plan on bringing her stroller and her carrier. We also are bringing an umbrella stroller for the 4 year old.

I would choose to take both items, as they both serve a good purpose at different points throughout the day, but I would also consider the umbrella stroller as the more important of the two.

I recommend the carrier. We took our daughter at 3 months and 15 months. She still wasn't walking at 15 months, and it got really heavy carrying her in the lines. We would mostly use the stroller, but we would put her in the carrier if the line was over 10-15 minutes long. We stashed the carrier under the stroller when we weren't using it.

Just get the BIGGEST stroller you can find and run people over!

We are heading to WDW for my daughter's 4th birthday in the fall. My son will be 8 months old at the time. We've opted to bring both the stroller (we have a sit & stand), and the baby carrier. My daughter doesn't use a stroller, so I figured the baby carrier may work best for some attractions, or restaurants where strollers aren't allowed. He'll be able to sit in a high chair, but what if he's tired? Wants a nap in the carrier? Just better to be safe and have both available. :)

Went in January with a 2 year old (+2 mos.) and a 9.5 mos. We had a single umbrella stroller and a carrier. The 2 year old walked most of the time and the baby rode in the stroller. Those times that we needed the 2 year old to be in the stroller, we pouched the baby. It worked great.
