Easy and budget-friendly solution IMO.
Just keep the NOLA retheme behind the Frontierland Railroad Station and retheme those building back there to PATF merch and food.
That way Frontierland stays Frontierland, we'd just have to accept we can see Mama Odie's Tree from all over the park. I'm sure they can transition us from NOLA to the bayou in the queue.
My worst fear is Disney goes the even cheaper route and we have Bob trying to justify how the bayou belongs in Frontierland somehow. I can already see them just keeping the existing rustic look in the courtyard and throwing signs that say "bayou" over it. "Tiana opened a shop and restaurant in the bayou" blah blah, I'd rather have a NOLA mini-land.
True but the French still had many influences once they bought it back. Many of the roofs & added third floors you see today around Jackson Square were added on top of the existing Spanish buildings.
NOLA was always ahead of it's time as even the architecture seem to have a mix of culture haha.
