During my trip to Disneyland last December, I thought to bring Disneyland Detective, a book full of interesting tidbits and history on Disneyland rides and attractions. I would read the section about the ride I was waiting in line for outloud to my mom. It passed the time and I learned cool new stuff! Plus, people around me in line would usually listen too, and then once I was done reading, it made a great ice breaker so that we could all discuss what we had learned. Being December, the longest line was Space Mountain (40 minutes) but it felt like 10, and I made some great friends in the process :-D

A great choice for WDW reading would be the Walt Disney World Trivia Book Volumes I and II by Lou Mongello. Can't wait to get II, it just came out a few weeks ago! And with the way the book is set up (Trivia questions with multiple choice, and then answers with about a paragraph of background info) you could have a trivia game right in line!

My friends and I when we would visit Disneyland would play the store game, except disneyland!

I went to Disneyland and...went to Adventureland. and then, I went to Disneyland and went to Adventureland and ate at Blue Bayou.

We'd go through the whole alphabet. For Q we always used, I went to Disneyland and saw Quail, Dan!

Now I have another book or books to ask for so I can get them at Christmas.:lol:
