Hi All!
I know this has been covered elsewhere before, but I just can't seem to find the thread tonight and I really want to get this letter out.
We spent close to an hour on the phone today with a great CM who really helped us get a confusing reservation with two different discount codes, etc. etc. all figured out. We make more reservations for Disney than I care to think about, and this guy went way above and beyond anything we have ever encountered.
Anyway, we'd really like to send a letter or email letting Disney know how great he was. WHERE DO WE SEND IT???
Thanks for the help.

A guest sent a letter to GR once saying good things about me. I don´t think I got the letter because it got lost when it was sent to the manager of the mexican pavillion by mistake. (I wasn´t working there). A friend of mine in GR told me about it.

I would say that if you are going to send it, try to have it sent to GR and to Central Reservations, so in case it gets lost, there is a copy of it. I don´t think they get lost very frequently though... mine was a misunderstanding. Make sure you write the name and lastname (if you have it) of this particular cast member, the day and time you spoke to him too.

Thanks for doing it! It means a lot to receive compliments for the efforts put to help guests. :)

hehe... now for the address and who to address the letter to, maybe Mktiggerman can help with those! :animwink:

I was chatting to a cast member friend of mine who works in Central Reservations (he might be your guy!) and he told me to send the letter to Guest Communications. Here is the email he gave me:

wdw.guestcommunications@disney.com

Hope that is the address, unless someone else knows more about this!

:animwink:

Oh yeah... you can address it to George Kalogridis, head of CRO. :animwink:

Definetly send it to that e-mail that Maria gave you... Those letters get forwarded to the appropriate department, as well as the cast member gets a notation in thier record card. :) It's always a good feeling to know that the guests you helped took the time to write a letter about you. :)

I'm sending a letter there too. I sent a snail-mail letter to the Wilderness Lodge...if I e-mail that guest communications address, will it be forwarded to the WL?

And Disney DOES respond to these letters....We went last time, and we had a scene where the CM's running Space Mtn were looking Down my fiancee's shirt, and making a big deal out of...even delaying the train (I think...may have just been slow out of the gate). They had us stopped...they then called that control tower thing, and they were laughing.....then the train moved forward to right next to the control console, so we were right under them.

When we got off the train, the guys at the end were waiting for us (of course). When we saw them they not only were slow to unload us, they took time to look down her shirt, but also up the woman's skirt in the car ahead of us.

I was so angry I wrote a letter to that email address. A couple weeks later I received free park tickets.

first you call the MK entertainment office, tell then you're a guest.

next you tell them about this CM, Robert R, and tell them what a great experience you had with him.

then you say goodbye and hang up

:sohappy: That is so great that you want to! I work in customer service, and compliments for a good job are so very few and far between!

Thank you for appreciating that particular CM's hard work! I'm sure he'll love to hear that you did. :)

But before you hang up, ask to be transferred to Transportation, and tell them what a great bus ride you had :D

And Disney DOES respond to these letters....

They certainly do. That's the entire job of Guest Communications - they read the letters/emails, respond to the guest concerns/compliments, and forward any information to the appropriate parties. My roommate works there, and she's always telling me stories from her job (and vice versa). She will often spend weeks replying to the same type of concerns (i.e. the removal of E-Ride Nights, The closing of Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, etc..) Very challenging job, but interesting...

Sounds like an amazing (yet challenging ) job! I'd love to do something like that! :)

Thanks for all the great information posted here! I love the way the housekeepers sometimes display toys in the windows at the All Stars. It seems sometimes they do and sometimes they don't, but it's a great touch. My son gets excited coming back to the room to see what they did. I will have to write a letter.

In June we stayed at The Beach Club and couldn't have been more impressed with the Cast. We came back to our room one day and found "animals" made out of the towels and face clothes. I also like the way that they arrange everything on the bathroom counters. You know they are cleaning if they move everything. I am a cast member and they don't treat fellow cast members any different. Everyone makes you feel special!!!:sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy:
