How to go from Poly to AKL

We're 5 days away from our first ever family trip to Disney and have some questions. We are staying at the Poly and have a 6 PM ADR at Boma at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. What is the best/fastest way to get there using Disney transportation, and what time should we plan on leaving our hotel to ensure that we arrive on time?

Monorail to Magic Kingdom, walk to bus stop, take bus to AKL. I'd allow 45 minutes, more if you want to check out the AKL

To get back to Poly, take a bus from AKL to any open theme park (or Downtown Disney if you must), and then transportation back to Poly.

Or just walk to the Ticket and Transport from Poly and catch a bus there to either AKL or AK. If you find an AK bus first then just hop on an AKL bus there. Should take 45-60 minutes depending on crowds.

To get home take a bus back to Ticket and Transport or to AK and then find the Poly bus.
