How to get seated faster at Yak and Yeti in AK than ADR's do.

Join the Landry's select club. We walked in informed them we are club members, they were telling even ADR's it would be about 15 to 30 minutes, and 2 minutes later we were at a table. I really enjoy eating there.

Ok, so I love it for many other reasons too, but this sort of info is the reason I love this website! I would have never known about this landry's club if not for this posting. Looking in to it, it looks to be potentially a really great deal if used correctly.

We've been members ever since they started and called it the Safari Club. Used to get either a free appetizer or % off the bill. Now it's just points, but the preferred seating comes in handy.

If you can schedule, that birthday award is great too. They give you $25 reward in your birthday month, good until the 15th of the following month. That is a free $25. Not too bad.

Never thought of that. I know it works at Morton's steakhouses. I became a Landry's member when Morton's somehow became associated with Landry's. Not that I have any real desire to eat at Yak & Yeti.

We love being part of this. The same thing happened to us at RFC. We went right at closing time of Animal Kingdom, and it was absolutely packed. We showed them our card, and were seated immediately. As was said, faster than even ADR's. It's also good on a few restaurants in PA where I live. Definitely worth it.

We have one too. Only downside is you can't use your landrys card and TIW card at the same time so you have to decide the better deal.
That was my question. Thanks for asking before I asked. Lol
And thanks to the OP for the info. Yak & Yeti is my favorite restaurant in AK.
FYI they also may have specials or variations not on the menu. Last visit they made me a delicious grilled Mahi Mahi that wasn't on the menu. It's worth it to strike up a conversation with your server.

I talk about the card all the time, last trip the wait at RFC was 1hr 45min, I showed my card and bam, we got sat 10 minutes later, as well as I had deferred my rewards so I had $100 saved up, so hooray for a free meal as well. Its a great way to plan, I live in Houston which is Landry's HQ, and there are dozens of restaurants I can and do use the card at. But I always save the rewards so I can use them at TREX or RFC.

My server, last year, tried to talk us into joining their club, never did it though, we only have one Landry's, Landry's Seafood), property here in Albuquerque, and as someone who spent most of their life in New England, I just can't push myself to eat much seafood in a land locked state. How much is the club membership cost?

Look on the website. There are a lot of restaurants now that are apparently part of the Landry's empire now. Most notably (and numerous) are the Mortons. It is a one time $25 fee, but as soon as you register it, they put that amount on the card to use within 12 months. So the card is free...ish.

But yeah, I has no idea so many places were now owned by Landrys.

Turns out the one location in all of New Mexico changed from Landry's Seafood to Claim Jumper, never heard of that joint, but it's something of theirs. Mortons would be nice here, but great steak is the one thing we have enough of in the high desert, don't need another chain, even if it's a good one. Might have to get a club card anyway, as it'll be useful for the very reason you posted to start this thread.

Just a point of fact, I did not start the thread. I, like you, am the lucky recipient of this info originally from @
ddrongowski and expanded by some others. :)
