How to fix my Mickey ears hat...

Hello friends!

My ears hat is about 15 years old and it has been sitting on a shelf on display. Over the years, the top (between the ears) has become flat. Not totally flat, but close. Does anyone have any ideas/tips of how I can round out the felt back to the original shape? When I wear them, it's not very noticeable, but I would like to fix them if possible.

Thanks :)

Slightly moisten the flat area, place on an appropriately sized ball or balloon, and let it sit for a couple of days.

Store them strapped to a large softball. Drawing Mickey's face on the soft ball is optional. Nerf balls work well also.

Agreed.

In the military, we'd actually soak our berets, put them on and mold them to shape - then take them off carefully and let them sit until dry.

That you for the input! My son has a mini basketball which is the perfect size. I dampened it and strapped it to the ball yesterday.. so far it's looking good!

Thanks again!
