How To Crack A Coconut.

How do you crack those suckers? When i always do it.. The 'milk' goes everywhere!

Get a Cordless drill.
Drill a 1/2 inch hole through the end with the "eyes" on it.
Pour out the milk.
Bash the heck out of the rest of it with a hammer.

Use a corkscrew to remove the eyes and pour out the milk. Then put the coconut on the floor and take your biggest hammer to it. Always works for me!

thats easy (thank goodness i live in hawaii..)

here's the way samoans do it..

-Climb up a coconut tree..
-grab a coconut and jump down..
-husk the coconut..
-find the eyes and mouth (or was it eyes and nose? its the 3 dots..)
-get a SHARP ROCK and hold the sharp part outwards in your hand..
-FIRMLY grab the coconut and as fast and powerfull, HIT the coconut between the eye's and mouth..
-turn it a bit and HIT the same spot..
-the coconut is now in 2 peices..

but the water inside is not the milk, its actually more of the, coconut water.. to get the milk (samoan style):

-scrape the ALL the white stuff inside into little shreads (the male samoans do it in atleast 2 seccond, women, 2 days, thats why the men cook..) hard to describe the process of scraping.. come here to hawaii..
-using the husk, place shreads into husks and squeese into the coconut shell (or "milk" it..)

now you got the milk..
