Anyone know how to get the TV to recognize the chrome cast? I can't figure out how to get the TV out of hospitality mode despite using codes I've found on the internet.

Try feeling around the back of the TV (usually right bottom) for a joystick. Push to click. Joy to navigate.

You can also screen mirror from your phone. press the top right button on the remote and you will see it on the TV
I think you still need access to input menus, which aren't available on the remote control. That is why you need to get to the toggle in the back.

I did not use any toggle. I downloaded a screen mirroring app on my phone and paired it to the tv. You press the upper right hand button on the remote to access the screen mirroring. It was very simple to set up.

I found my work around. I just unplugged the Disney box out of the hdmi1 port and put in the chrome cast. It would not work on any other hdmi port. Same thing is true for my son’s Xbox in the kids room (we’re here for 12 nights so I don’t feel bad about letting him play on vacation). The streaming/casting is fine but not all apps work with that on iOS. Thanks for all the suggestions!
