I booked thru disney trael com. and I booked the Mears transport to and from. But I am thinking of cancelling Mears and going with a towncar for $95.
I sure wish I knew about this board before booking.
Anyhow, I am sure they will charge me a cancellation fee. But I'm wondering about how much or if it will be worth it,
This trip is the first for my 2 kids ages 4 and 6.
I'm not sure how much it would be, but from what I understand about Mears it would be well worth it. Especially with little kids. The towncar service will have car seats, be waiting for you at the airport and stop at a grocery store if you want for supplies. There is a car service as a sponser here... you may want to check into that.
Tell you the truth, I prefer the town cars down there. I usually go with Selective Limosine at www.selectivelimo.com/ I've never had a problem with them and they will make sure of your flights arrival time so if you get there early, then they will be there for you and if you are delayed(I had a five hour delay last trip) they will be there waiting for you when you land. The rates are reasonable and you won't be making five other stops before getting to your hotel as sometimes happens with Mears. But if you are worried about cost, you should check into the amount for a cancellation fee and also how much you are spending for round trip through Mears before calling them.
EDIT: Look at that. Less than 10 minutes and you've got yourself some options.
