How to buy a 5 day ticket to Tokyo Disneyland?

I'm very confused with the Tokyo system.
We will be going to Tokyo for 1-week in July, and we plan to spend 3 full days and two partial days at the resort. We already bought airfare and got a great rate.

Is it best to buy the tickets separately from the hotel? We want to do Mira Costa for two days and the rest at The Tokyo Bay Hilton, but the hotel booking system and park tickets are wacky to say the least.

What's the deal with the park filling to capacity, and us not being able to use the tickets? Is it possible that we can buy 5-day park tickets with a 2-night stay at Hotel MiraCosta?

Also, is it necessary to book reservations for restaurants ahead of time? And where is the best place to do that? Thanks!!!

Book the MiraCosta ASAP (in either Porto Paradiso or Venice), as it can sell out, especially for multiple nights. Don't worry about tickets until you arrive and buy them at your hotel. Finally, Fove day tickets don't exist, only up to four, and then passports. If it were me, I would get a one day ticket along with a four day, as you then get two opportunities to park hop, as opposed to the one you would get buy getting a two and three day ticket.

You will be guaranteed a park entry if you stay in the Disney resort.
And don't buy the tix online, buy it at the resort, if you stay in the deluxes, you can get a daily park hopper ticket instead.

Regarding restaurants, you would want to book ahead of time especially if they are a dining show type of deal. Not only they fill up very quickly but you want to secure a good place to watch the show. They will assign you into a zone, with A (I think) being the best view.
