How quickly do MVMCP sell out?

My mom and I are going to be at The World this December and want to go to MVMCP. We know what day we are going but just haven't bought the tickets yet. How early do they sell out? I feel like I saw an article recently that showed each date and when it's sold out in previous years, but I can't find it again. We're planning to go on December 14th. Is this something we need to buy tickets for ASAP or should we be fine if we put it off for another couple months?

It is hard to say. Both the Christmas and Halloween parties had some really odd sell out days last year.

I would not worry about banging the phones at 7:00 AM the day they go on sale, but I would not put it off for too long. If you know without a doubt that you are going, it is better to just pull the trigger early and be safe.

If your trip corresponds with multiple days, then you should be ok to hold off a bit. There are people that do wait until they get close enough to see a reliable weather forecast. But if you are going to be planning your calendar around MVMCP, or only have one option, then as @Master Yoda said, don't wait too long. But its definitely not like BoG or A&F FP+.

Oh wow, some sold out last year that I didn't even realize. We were at the December 3rd party, and I wouldn't have believed it was sold out- the crowds were so light. We sat just past the bridge to Liberty Square for the 1st parade and had at least 15 feet to ourselves.

Supposedly, the number of tickets the sell for the parties is equivalent to the parade route capacity. Since most people try to lock up one spot for both the fireworks and the parade The hub and Main St get packed, but the crowds along the route in Liberty Square and Frontierland tend to be pretty light.
