How often do parks get closed due to capacity ?

I read some where there are four levels.
All except for the highest level people saying with a Disney Hotel or people that have a reservation can get in.

Does parks ever go to level 4 and close the doors to everybody ?

Not many Phase 4's, but a lot of 3's.

I read the descriptions, and frankly this webpage is useless when i am actually on vacation. (I do not do the internet)
When I go Phase 3 closing will not bother me I am staying in a Disney Hotel.

Unless you are traveling during a few select time periods, the parks usually won't hit closures. Following @Tom s suggestion of doing the search should help to show what those time periods are. NYE, Fourth of July, Christmas break etc are the usual suspects.

They don't close them enough to my liking. They should close them to about 1/3 of the capacity. This way the true Disney fans could get the most enjoyment out of the park. IMHO the casuals are tainting the experience for the rest of us hard cores.

Yeah!! Who wants to enjoy the park with the rabble general public?? Takes all the fun away from us high class folks!

Nothing to do with being high class it's just that the casuals clog up the experience. I find they do not adequately plan and research before they go and ruin the experience for those of us that have a gameplan. When I go to the parks I have everything mapped out months in advance. The poor planners get in the way of my well laid plans.

If you had planned sufficiently you wouldn't have an issue.
