I were to add a Princess and the Frog prop to the Haunted Mansion?
They're letting us wear costumes to work on Friday (certain rules apply; no masks or facepaint and such), and I'm going to be wearing a Dr. Facilier getup....tuxedo tailcoat, purple shirt, and a rather nice wool top hat which I will be adding a felt skull and crossbones. (will be posting pics in the MNSSHP once I get the thing assembled)
This is the hat I've got, and I picked up the cloth and glue to add the skull and crossbones, as well as the long red-dyed pheasant feather.
The thing is...I don't like repeating costumes. I'm Facilier this year....next year who knows.
And seeing as how I'm not going to be needing that top hat again, I could just eBay or garage sale the thing.....
Or I could take it with me to Disney on my next outing, slip it to a HM cast member with a little bit of a bribe, and get them to put it somewhere in the attraction as a bit of an Easter Egg.
Ideally, I'd want the thing sitting on Leota's table....but having it in the background of the ballroom, or maybe on the piano, could work just as well.
As neat as this would be....I honestly won't be doing it if any of the CMs can get into major trouble over it. As much as I like the idea of adding something neat to a classic attraction, I definitely don't want anyone suffering any ill repercussions.
