We have rain usually about 4 pm. It can last anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour. Also we have been experiencing on and off little showers. Just be sure to get to the parks early so you can get as much in before the rain as possible.

I've been to Disney about 10 times, and whenever it has rained, it's rained for about 10-15 minutes, then stops. When I was there in August a few years back, it rained at night a couple times, but it was brief - Though torrential.

Honestly, don't let the rain ruin your day. It's just water. Obviosuly, if it's sunny it's better, but you can still do 75% of the things you would do at any of the parks even in the rain.

. . . and, to be honest, I wouldn't rather be anywhere else in the world during a rainstorm than Walt Disney World. :D

"and it rained. . .

and rained. . .

and rained. . .

THE DELUGE."

I agree with that 100%.

Honestly, if you're worried, check the weather every morning before you leave. If it's gonna be a day when it rains all day (few and far between), head to Epcot. By far, the best park to be on rainy days.

Don't be too worried about the rain. You can have fun whether it rains or not...plus if it rains, the lines go down because many people leave the park!

Yeah but rain is rain, most people just act like its not raining and continue on with what they are doing. They just buy or pull out there ponchos or umbrellas and go from there...

I love it when people complain about the rain, as if Disney has some control over the weather... Jeez. Its only rained for 11 ... wait 12 (?) straight days? Something like that.

A bad or rainy day at Disney World beats a good day most everywhere else. :D

For a true Disney fan like me, I welcome the rain. I was in MK during a rainstorm and EVERYBODY left. There were no to minimal lines for everything. And it was kind of fun running around in the rain (thats just me).Ofcourse if you dont like to get wet, this is not for you. Also, they had to cancel the Electric Light Parade because, well duh. But all in all it was one of my best experiences in MK.
