Last time I was there the Barber Shop was no more... It was Last December and I was looking forward to it... thought it would be really cool. Anyway, I'm going in about 24hrs and I'll let you know if they put it back... but if you are going soon... you might want to get a trim before you go...

that's funny... lol. Last december it was being moved to its new location further up on Main Street, next to the horse barn, in the old package pickup location. I can see where the confusion would come though, since they didn't really post anywhere that it was being moved.

Once again, I must bow to the avatar king! You haven't failed to crack me up yet. ;)

Sorry all for the misstatement of facts... a CM told me they closed it down and weren't bringing it back... Heck... I'm really excited now because I'm leaving for the Poly in... well 15 min. :sohappy:

Guess my hair will have some fun too as I'm due for a trim... :D

Have a good one everyone and I'll let you know how they did.

Yes there is, but your prices are off... it's $16 for an adult and $12 for a child. I know cause we took my son two Monday's ago for his first haircut ever at WDW. :sohappy: Plus I have it on tape. I am 100 % on these prices, cause that IS what they are going for right now.

My husband gets his cut at the Barber Shop (near the car barn in MK) every trip. He even gets the colored gel and pixi dust!! They do an awesome job! It's about $15 and well worth every cent!! What is better than getting your hair cut in the Magic Kingdom!!

$15, thats really really good...... I beleive that the prices at WDW are really well priced.... lets face it the quality is damn good. However, the haircut... BARGAIN, that is soooo cheap, especially - like you say it is a good job. Thats about £9.40 to me, unless a friend does it I pay about £15 mimimum depending on where I go, but I have paid as much as £50 in my time.

Sure, a haircut around here goes for about $12 - $15 so it is very resonable. I find most everything in Disney is a fair price for the quantity and/or quality you get. The exception would be in soft drinks and bottled water though. And overly priced toys. But they have to make more where they are most likely to get more. Although most toys are not that high either, mainly the night toys.
