The Disney parks are amazing and there are many types and I will share ideas on how these can fit into every type with still feeling like Marvel or Star Wars
Types of Disney parks:
Disneyland/ Magic Kingdom:
No talking because as long as it is Marvel or Star Wars it would work.
Animal Kingsom:
Types of Disney parks:
-Disneyland/ Magic Kingdom
Related to movie genres. There is DL, MK, DLP, HKDL, SDL and TDL
-Adventure parks
Will feature a theme of adventuring a state or country and is a weird idea. DCA is an example
-Water Parks
Does not count but I want to anyways since Water Parks can be highly themed
-Studios/ Movies (full)
A park based on all movie/ TV IP’s or the magic of movie making. DHS and WDS are examples
-Epcot
Features the technology of the literal future and culture of countries. Epcot is the example, the only one
-Zoo park
Features animals or creatures as the theme and some countries about the countries or at least animal related things. Animal Kingdom is an example
-Port Disney/ Disney Sea
A park (don’t know to much about) acting as a “port” with lots of highly themed parts and has sea related things like the living seas pavilion. Tokyo Disney Sea is an example. It also has some highly themed rides not connected to it.
That is a quick description and now the imagineering part on how marvel and Star Wars can fit into all of these types.Disneyland/ Magic Kingdom:
Star Wars:
-Coruscant:
Could fit inside of a Tomorrowland with maybe a simulator featuring the chase scene from AotC and maybe the “Outlander Club” or “Dex’s Dinner” as restaurants.
-Empire/ Sith/ First Order stations:
Could maybe house a small meet and great in TL with maybe a Sith experience with maybe a Death Star or Starkiller Base coaster or ride.
-Endor:
The forrest moon of Endor could fit (poorly) in Adventureland with maybe an Ewok village with a meet and greet with an Ewok and maybe an Ewok ride. Maybe a temple from other inhabitants of Endor.
-Kashyk:
A Wookie Village with a Coaster where guests fly through the jungles to defend their homes or a shooter coaster and maybe a wookie grill.
-Jakku:
Could fit inside of Frontierland poorly but if it shows the Wild West of Star Wars with a unique feel with the dessert lands of Jakku and maybe a Jakku restaurant or something.
-Tatooine:
Just like with Jakku but instead a pod racer roller coaster that might be a dueling coaster or a Moss Eisley space port with maybe the cantina.
Marvel:
-Superhero City:
Superhero movies count as a genre and could feature rides with not just marvel but maybe also the Incredibles. Acts as a new land.
-Stark Expo:
Could fit inside of TL with Stark tech with maybe an Iron Man experience or a new Quinjet Test coaster.
-Xandar:
The planet from GotG could fit inside of TL with maybe the GotG Coaster with maybe a Xandarian grill. Will feature the GotG.
-Asgard:
The city of the gods could fit inside of Fantasyland with maybe a Thor roller coaster or trackless dark ride where the Frost Giants or Hela invade Asgard and Thor saves the guests with an Asgardian Steak house and maybe a Thor or other asgardian meet and greets
Epcot:Star Wars:
-World of Star Wars:
Maybe a part of FutureWorld could feature the tech of Star Wars with maybe a science-y way to explain it. Probably won’t work.
Marvel:
-Stark Expo:
Just like the idea for TL but more of a way of explaining it maybe with more of a realistic take with more realistic style rides.
-Wakanda:
The mythical country from Black Panther could fit into the World Showcase with maybe the animals or culture and maybe a Vibranium Roller Coaster train ride that is at high speeds.
DHS/ WDS:No talking because as long as it is Marvel or Star Wars it would work.
Animal Kingsom:
Star Wars:
-Endor:
Could feature an Ewok trap coaster or something as the whole land talks about the Ewoks and other Endorian creatures with a Speeder Bike Coaster.
-Kashyyk:
A Wookie Village featuring Wookie and a Wookie coaster or a restaurant.
-Geonosis:
A Geonosian hive with a steel wooden hybrid coaster through the factories and mines that these bug creatures made with maybe a droid factory dinner where the food looks like it is being made from the droid making machines.
Marvel:
-Wakanda:
Featuring the creatures of the country with maybe some historical stuff about them. A poor idea
-Sanctum Sanctum:
Maybe a mythical mansion with portals to the multiverse with the creatures from those realms with maybe a Nightmare coaster or drop tower ride with creatures from nightmares.
Tokyo Disney Sea:Star Wars:
-Kamino:
Guests enter the cloning facilities as Kamino is ocean related where maybe an attack on Kamino underwater coaster could be (simulator) with the Baracks and other places as the queue. Could feature lots of meet and greets with some boats actually docking in there for some weird immersion that won’t work.
Marvel:
-Port Avenger:
A port where superheroes are with theming to a high tech port which could act as a training ground for superhero’s and could feature the Spider Man ride or a “boat” ride which actually is a coaster.
DCA:Star Wars:
-Imperial base:
The Empire has settled in California (stupid idea). Basically what Batu is but with a Californian theme as what they were planning.
Marvel:
-Avengers Academy:
The Avengers settled a base in California and are recruiting new superheroes. Basically what the Marvel land is going to be.
Obviously these are not all ideas but these are some on why we don’t need a new park for these IP’s as Disney can make them fit in if they wanted. I do have ideas for parks for these IP’s though. Just don’t expect a marvel park or Star Wars park [sadly]
