How many Magicbands have you acquired?

We are up to 6 now, with 2 more coming in December. I wish there was a way to not receive any more. How is everyone else's count?

You'd think by now they would have the capabilty to just let you reuse your first one's you got rather than getting a new one...I find it as a waste.

27. (4 for annual passes - 2 sets for 2 years, 1 LE band, & the rest for resort stays). An uneven number for me & my husband as I had to buy an HM band last time we were down at WDW. (Yes, I know I am a sucker, but I had to have it. The other LE bands don't interest me in the least.). I'm planning on attaching the bands together & using them as garland on the Christmas tree this year.

Ya-I don't get this. They say the battery is good for 2 years, but then they send you one for every hotel stay, ticket, ect? Hoping they will fix this. I've racked up 3 since August!

You can turn in any magic bands at the resort. I always tell them I don't need the ones waiting for me at check in or I turn any that get sent to me, while checking in. I don't get why you don't have a option to choose new ones or not. 90% of the time I give them back the CM will say "I don't know why they think everyone needs so many of these." They do recommend having at least 2 so you have a back up in case something happens. With that said I have 1!

We have just been throwing ours away. Never occurred to me to keep them. Did not wear it, why would I keep it?

I have been wondering about this. We were there in August. Originally we booked a package. We upgraded to annual pass on first day. When we go back in June they will send us another set?

I have 8 myself - 1 AP and 7 resort. I figure when you have enough you can make garland from your Christmas tree with them by chaining them end to end.
