How many days to do Universal?

For our September 2009 trip to WDW, we are planning on taking some time to vist Universal.

So how many days should we take to do Universal? We were thinking 2 days, (one for each of the parks) but do we really need to take that much time out of our week to see it all, or could we get away with one day?

You could do it in one day, however you'd be pushing yourself if you've never been there and want to experience everything.

IMO I'd go for the two days so you don't feel pressured to go "park commando" all day.

You may get through in a day and a half.

Well being a HUGE Frankenstein and Spider-Man fan, I think I will do it in 2 days.

I don't want to rush myself, just wanted to make sure there was enough to make 2 days worth it.

Thanks!

I agree with Unkadug, if you were just focused on the major attractions, you could easily get through both parks in one day. Two days is ideal to thoroughly enjoy each park.

Everytime we go to florida we do 4 days disney and 3 days universal

If I were you I would do
1 day islands of adventure
1 day at universal
Usually, 3rd day we split both parks and do our favorites for 2nd or 3rd depending on wait time and weather conditions

I went in the first week of September last year and did both parks easily in one day. It was almost like having the parks to ourselves. The only wait in the entire two parks was for Jaws, about a thirty minute wait. We walked right on, or within five minutes walked right on, every other attraction from opening to closing.
