How many days for DL and DCA

Hello we will be in SoCal for a wedding and are heading to the Land with our 5 kids. I am thinking 2 days in each park, will we be able to see and do most of everything? Honestly we might not make it back for a long time, if ever.
We have a ton of WDW trips under our belt and commando kids that never seem to be tired.

We were there last summer. We spent 3 days between the 2 parks. We were going to add a 4th day on, but then decided against it to instead check out Hollywood. We are park commando at WDW as well, and took the same strategy at DL. Be sure to get park hopper! You can walk from the gates of DCA to DL in less than 2 minutes!!! (I also should note that we were there in late August - so the crowds were not bad at all. To put it in perspective... we rode Toy Story Mania 3 times in a row with only a 5 min wait each time!)

We're spending 4 full days in the parks plus one evening (mostly just to see the fireworks because they don't have them every night!)

I would suggest that you also check out World of Color at DCA.

4 days sounds okay. I have spent up to 6 and that was great we moved at a luxurious pace, but I have done 4 and not felt super rushed either.

We are going in July. Right now I have planned 3 days with hoppers. It's been awhile since we have been to DL. really looking forward to seeing Carsland.
