How long to get to Boardwalk?

We have a reservation for bon voyage breakfast at 10:35. We're staying at POFQ. What would everyone recommend as the best way to get there?
We do have tickets for epcot that day, and my mother is unable to walk long distances, so I read if we get to epcot we can take friendship boats to the boardwalk. If we do that, how long would it take all together from POFQ to the boardwalk? My other concern aside from walking is that we are NOT morning people, so if the epcot/friendship boat route takes a while we may have to get up pretty early to get there by 10:35???

Thanks!

If your mom is unable to walk long distances your idea to go to Epcot isn't great. You would have to walk all the way from the front of the park at Epcot, through World Showcase, out the back and then on to Boardwalk. Going to DHS would be better as the drop off isn't as far from the boats.

In this case I would actually call Lyft/Uber/Cab for a ride. Otherwise I would give yourself an hour and a half to get there.

Huh, I was under the impression from other articles that the boats were actually in epcot, which would make them no where near Hollywood studios?? So could we even be dropped off at hs and take these boats to boardwalk when we don't have tickets to that park? Sorry I'm not very Disney savvy as you can tell!

I wouldn’t go to a park first. For around $7 you could probably save at least an hour of your time and save your mom from lots of excess/wasted walking. :)

Boats run on crescent lake on a loop between all Epcot area resorts and Epcot and Studios, ie. Yacht/Beach Club, Boardwalk, Swan/Dolphin.

You can also walk from the entrance of studios to the boardwalk

Seeing as you are not morning people and your mother cannot walk long distances (may I suggest an ECV/wheelchair for her? Disney is a HUGE place), I'd call an Uber. You can find many "codes" and often get your first few rides discounted or free even. If you get your mom an ECV/wheelchair, enter Epcot and head to the back where France is. You can get to the boardwalk through there, but it is a long walk if she has to actually walk. Hope that makes sense & good luck! :)

The boats in Epcot are just across the World Showcase Lagoon. They don't let you off all that close to an exit nor are they close to the entrance.
