How long is a typical table service dinner?

I am thinking 45 min. to an hour. Does that seem about right? I am sure its more with larger parties but with a typical 3-5 person party what do you think the average is?

Sounds pretty close. Figure another 10-15 mins if you do apps or dessert.

Always plan for dessert. ;)

Our table service experiences last time (2 adults, 2 small children, and we tend to eat fairly quickly) included both traditional sit-down, to-order meals (e.g., Coral Reef, 50's Primetime) and buffets ('Ohana character breakfast, Liberty Tree Tavern, Biergarten). On average, we waited 10 minutes to be seated, and once at our table the meal itself, with beverage service, entrees, and dessert, took an additional 45 minutes, regardless of the type of meal. This was the case even with the character breakfast -- they rushed those characters by us so fast, we were left with a glimpse of a blur, and a handful of fur!

I'd plan on about 45-75 minutes depending on a variety of things (how long it takes to be seated, time for cooking the food, eating the food, desert, etc).
