How long does it take to eat at Disney table service?

Maybe about an hour, depending on the size of the group, whether you're ready to order quickly, whether you stay for dessert, etc.

There is just two of us, both adults, and we need to forego desserts at lunch in favor of snacks mid afternoon.
I just did not know how long the themed places take to serve. We are both 50 something and I wanted to take a air conditioned lunches!

Please give Swan quests Magic Bands!

We could've been in and out of 50s Prime Time in about 30 minutes when we went in September but stretched it due to a lingering thunderstorm. Smaller the dining group = quicker meal time. Depends on what you get, how many courses, etc of course, too.

We've eaten there a couple of times. We have always received our food in a very timely manner. You should be in and out in about an hour.

For my family of four, it usually breaks down like this:

Arrive 10-15 minutes prior to reservation time and wait 10-15 minutes to be seated.
Ordering and eating two "courses" (e.g., appetizer and entree or entree and dessert) takes us about 45 minutes (although sometimes it takes an additional 5-10 minutes to flag down our server to get and pay the bill after we're done eating). Our meal at 50's PrimeTime followed the same pattern -- we were departing the restaurant with full bellies and renewed energy less than an hour after our ADR time.

If it had been just DH and I, however, looking for a relaxing break, we'd likely have spent twice that long, lingering over coffee or milkshakes. Ah, those were the days... ;)

We always check in 10-15 mns before our reservation time and plan an hour from reservation time for every restaurant.

Pretty much every table service restaurant in the parks is aiming to get you in and out within an hour once you are seated.
