Initially we were going to shuttle from the airport to hotel and hotel shuttle from Our Kissimmee hotel to Disney parks and then cab it to other locations. We looked into renting a vehicle and decided renting would be a reasonable choice. So we booked a vehicle. How have other found parking at Disneyworld? Some one said it's $25/day?

The $24 spots are nicer than the $19 spots. And the $19 spots are much better than the $13 ones. The $25 dollar ones at the parks I feel are way over priced. They are the same as the $19 ones, but not quite as nice as the $24 ones. Hope that clears it up a bit.
Seriously....parking is okay. It is $25 a day at the parks (unless you opt for preferred which runs $40). Parking at DS is free and you can visit pretty much any resort (other than the monorail resorts) and park for free as well.

Just an idea...look into your credit cards...most have discounts or points that can be used to defray the cost of the rental. Between our cards we usually have enough points to get a free rental for the week that we were there. My DW no longer chooses to fly, so we will be renting an SUV here in NJ and driving down next year. With all of our points, we should be able to get the rental at (I hope) 50% off the price., this way we use up the points and don't put the mileage on our vehicles. Just a thought....
