I may have done this before but
This is just kinda what I would like to see. I will list certain places and aspects I would change to evoke the feelings of Classic Disney with a modern twist. Assuming unlimited money that was pulled from stupid high priced que things and digital nonsense, and funneling money away from the DVC (haha) and back to the actual parks. (hopefully in the process restoring Imagination as well second floor)
Now with the hungry bear restaurant Country Bear Themed the first thing I'd do is the obvious, I'd ironically turn Pooh back into the Original Full length Country bear Jamboree, with all its overlays and everything. The next thing I'd do is establish that all rides walt built should be continued in a Walt Legacy project, keeping them not only running but constantly updated with better tech and replacement parts. These rides would be untouchable otherwise.
I would also add the entrance music from the Florida space mountain to the California one because it's very well done and creates a stirring and pleasant atmosphere.
I would add soundtracks to tomorrowland that include imagination song one little spark instrumental (the original from the loop outside the Pavilion) as well as instrumentals of "Tomorrow's Child" and "Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow". otherwise there would be things like the Waterfall by Lynch that used to play all over the parks so much so I used to think Disney wrote it, as well as the "Oh Of Pleasure" (the name sounds wrong but its not that at all!) which played in the Wonders of Life. This type of music is calming and many times prevents people from feeling anxiety and depressive feelings. I would also obviously find a way to return both the People mover and the rocket tower to operation the way it was meant to be.
The carousel theater.....Well we'd assess the possibility of bringing figment AND the Dreamfinder to the west coast in some form. I will Die on the hill for figment....sorry non figment lovers (if any exist). Something whimsical, but also updated.
If I could I would Restore splash mountain.....But if that was off the table I'd start to gather former Imagineers and new ones to create a better Tiana ride with Dr. Facillier and the shadow realm.
Now here's where I get a bit creative and maybe controversial.
I would change the Submarine ride to a new adventure, one of exploring mermaids suspected to be in the waters. Either this would tie in with Ariel, or It would be a unique fantastical adventure of its own with new characters in a sci fi fantasy akin to the golden age. IT would have to be very good and full of not just screens but optical wonders. In this way I may bring back the swimming mermaids for special events now that gas fumes are not a threat.
I would create some kind of peter pan lost boys/girls adventure that kids could play both with special phones with apps as a tour guided by Peter pan himself. I think that would be fun. It could involve finding hidden treasure with a series of clues and in the end everyone gets a special piece of it. this would be like a successor to the pirate treasure thing. This could just be biased because I love tinkerbell and peter pan things but whatever!!
DCA could go two ways.... First If Pandora was not being built.....
I would restore the tower of terror and investigate the possible transformation of monsters inc to a great movie ride. Everyone would probably say NO JANET there is no room bla bla bla but If I could I would make it include a mix of classic movies and modern movies. But in the likely event that this is totally impractical, I would do it anyway but on on a smaller scale and see how it goes.
In the meantime I would refit the Incredicoaster into a more California Screamin' style that blends the two but still has cool california music.
I would rename the Pixar Pal around wheel because the name is wordy and dumb and doesn't befit the world's second incarnation of the wonder wheel. Any suggestions?
If the park drops the California theme, and Avatarland is built, I would push that to the extreme. I would rework the pier by the Little Mermaid ride to look beautiful and fantastical more like a cove with Atlantica style theming similar to Disneysea.
In either scenario I'd get rid of that dumb spider man ride. Either I'd make it way better with animatronics and actual villians or I'd give up on it altogether. The problem is that Marvel.....may be on its way out in popularity. possibly due to the poor quality of movies. So I'd probably not touch that right away. I'd wait to see what happens from the movie studios and box offices.
I would enhance the Grizzly River to have some kind of storyline to it.
If they aren't already doing it I'd make sure the music in the Avatar ride is as memorable and stirring as it is in the Navi River Journey. That music is SOLID.
I would NOT do much to Galaxy's Edge (dodges tomatoes) But I would create a new more Star-warsy story to the millennium falcon involving chewy and the droids and all. I'd figure it out. Yes Adding Solo would be hard but we'd make a brainstorming session about it.
IF I had the power to do it I would return to the original fast pass system. The one that worked. perhaps a slight upcharge on the pass if you wanna get them but only if someone really pushed me to do it.
