How hard to get around if I'm on mobility scooter? Want to bring 7 year old.

You will be fine! My husband is on a scooter and we have had no problems. Lines are made wide enough that you ride the scooter right up to boarding the ride and its waiting for you when you get off. Everyone is so helpful at the rides. We live in Florida and go to the parks a lot. Never had a problem. Even riding the bus back and forth from the resort to the parks was no problem. The bus drivers are very helpful. Go and make lots of memories with your grandson!

Just do what everyone else does and clip the heels of those in front - they soon move :)
I realize that this was said in jest, but, knowing this is always a hot topic, let me interject before it gets out of hand. Almost every single bumping incident that I have ever witnessed has been the fault of the bumpee and not the bumper. In all but one case the person operating the scooter was just slowly working their way along with everyone else when an unconscious other person stepped directly in front of the scooter, they turned around and screamed at the scooter operator about how stupid they were and how they need to be careful. It is amazing how quickly people can direct their own stupidity to someone else. People need to remember that those things do not have brakes. They stop by releasing the hand acceleration and a friction brake takes over. Unfortunately, they are counter-intuitive. If you have ever ridden a bicycle that had a hand brake, your first reaction is to squeeze that handle to stop. It's the opposite on the scooters thus making them surge forward instead of stopping. I don't know why they cannot change that system, but, to my knowledge haven't figured out a way to do it.

The other one that I saw involved an older man working his way through a crowded part of DHS near the Muppet Theater. He had his cane across the handle bars, which made him wider then a regular scooter space and some one walked into the end of the cane causing the scooter to head directly toward them. They, of course, proceeded to make the old man feel like a common criminal. I saw a shared fault on that one. The man should have found a better place for the cane and the other person should have been paying attention to where they were walking. So, we really need to lighten up a little on those that need to use a scooter to enjoy the same things that the rest of us enjoy because we are able to walk the distance. It's a big world... share it!

Not to mention the fact that they spend most of their day looking directly at everyone's butt. Not always a pretty sight. Cut them some slack.

You'll be fine. Some rides make you transfer to a wheelchair, but just ask at the entrance and the CM will tell you what to do. If you have a heart condition, you may not want to ride some of the rides. Enjoy your time with your grandson and the magical memories you'll make.:joyfull:

I can do that. Is it possible to do a few rides with grandson and be able to get back to the scooter with a short walk? Due to heart can not walk far

MK is the easiest park to ride from land to land and be able to park the scooter and have a short walk to 2-3 rides. It is also the most difficult to maneuver around on a scooter due to crowds so the park and walk method works well. Just remember the Florida heat/humidity is oppressive so with a heart condition be wary of walking too much. AK, EPCOT and DHS are much more spread out and the scooter will probably be necessary to go from one ride/attraction to the next. Have a great trip!!
