I've never been to the Processional... Is it really hard to get seats? Are the Candlelight Processional Dining Packages really worth it? Thanks!

No, the times we did not do the reserved seating we just walked in and sat down. We had seats those times near the back, but it was still an enjoyable experience. The two times we did reserved dining package we got seats near the stage. My advice is if you want to sit close do the dining package.

Our CP tickets were made in advance to ensure a better seating. There is no going in early to reserve seats, you are in a standby line if you don’t have the dining package. The dining packages get you in before all others so there is a benefit. The event is popular so the closer you are to the holiday the more chances you may miss out on getting tickets. It is a fabulous show and some narrators are better than others in how they present the same narrative.

I am just wondering WHEN they are going to offer the availability of the Dining Packages. Our ADR window is in 30 Days and it would nice if we could PLAN on which day we could get. Last year was SO frustrating with the way Disney handled it, I really do not want to go through that again.

Last time we bought the dining package, but found that we waited too long to get in the line to get in with all the other folks with packages. By the time we made it in, they released the crowd for general seating. It was madness!

Now that’s just wrong! I would be furious..
We were so surprised at how long the line was for people with dining packages (backed up all the way to Morocco). I guess it took so long to get us all in that they eventually needed to open the other queue. I think it’s easier when you book the first show. Then, they don’t have to wait for the venue to empty before they begin to the crowds in.

Guest Relations can be your friend in a case like this.

Does anyone have experience trying to see the show if a family member (in this case, our son) is performing? We just found out last night and are trying to make sure if we bring his grandparents they will actually be able so see him on stage. Any thoughts or advice are welcome, thanks!

I have sung in the mass choir at Candlelight several times. In my experience, there is nothing extra that is done to assist family members viewing of the Candlelight Processional.
