how far to PC from WDW

planning on driving to PC for cruise. how far to PC from WDW and any tips for the rest of the ride past WDW? never cruised before so never been past WDW before.

It's really not far, an hour at the most. It's a fairly simple drive out there, but I'm not much help with directions since we took a town car for our cruise. I just let the driver lead the way :)

It's ~60 miles from Port Canaveral to WDW (depending on where in WDW you're going). Yes, it can be as little as an hour, but it can also be much more. If you're taking the Beachline there are very few exits for long stretches of that road and if there's an accident then it can be a lot longer.
