How far out can you book a WDW Tour?

Hi,

We are possibly looking to book the "The Magic Behind Our Steam Trains" tour at Magic Kingdom next December, and we were just wondering whether there was a set number of days in advance that a tour becomes available, such as 180 days as with ADRs?

Thanks for your help.

It's usually 180 days, but it depends on the tour. Some don't schedule that far in advance. I'm not sure about the steam train tour. I should look in to it, though, because I want to do that about four months from now.

We booked our Epcot Aqua Seas Tour on Tuesday for December 26th, that would be 177 days out. Our visit starts on the 22nd. I would think you could reserve at 180 out.

I called and checked today. The tour can be booked 180 days out. It's $52 and change with tax, and Disney Visa cardholders get a $20% discount.

Thank you so much for doing that!

So, that would be next June for us...

Did you book for yourself? If so, you'll have to post what you thought of it after you've done it!

I didn't book yet. @pugmalion1 and I are getting married at the Swan in November, and I really want to do this tour with my dad while our family is all down there. I just need to get his travel schedule and figure out which day works best. I'll definitely let you know my thoughts!

That's a nice thought of doing that with him!

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

Hope you have an amazing trip, and congratulations on the wedding!

I'd avoid tours on EMH days. The park will be very crowded by the time you're done. I'm interested in booking the Marceline tour and I'll definitely book it on a day without morning EMH.
