How far is Disneyland from the Rose Bowl area?

Depending on traffic, probably around 90mins to 2hrs.

That seems a little high. I can make it from my in laws house in Pasadena to the DL parking structure in 50 to 55 min. I take the 210 east to the 57 south and exit at Ball Rd. The advantage to this route is that you can use car pool lanes for about 80% of the freeway drive and you avoid driving through LA.

Thanks for the info. I know I can look on map sites, but those are not always reliable and do not always give the best possible routes, and do not take into consideration traffic, etc. I was looking for someone who is familiar with the area, which it looks like you are. Thanks!

I have another question that you might be able to give an opinion on. If our team makes it to the National Championship (Go Horns!) there is a chance we are going to go. And I can't possibly be that close to Disneyland without going there as well! Do you think it would be better to stay in a hotel near Disneyland, or one near the Rosebowl?

Bear in mind that at time of year (Rose Bowl & Rose Parade) the city of Pasadena will be jam packed. Hotels and restaurants will be at full capacity and many of the hotels jack up their room rates because of these events.

I know. I just don't like the idea of driving back to a Disneyland area hotel late at night after the game is over. I'm thinking the best thing might be to switch hotels....stay at at Disneyland hotel the first couple of nights, then check into a hotel near the Rose Bowl the day of the game. I need to figure this out soon because like you said everything is going to book up. I'm hoping to get a hotel reservation made in the next day or two.

Sounds like a good idea. I would book in Pasadena as soon as possible though.
