hey everyone

I'm trying to get an idea of how far things are from each other and how long it takes to walk from one place to another. All the maps that I've seen don't have a distance scale :(

1) epcot: from soarin to test track
2) HS: from frozen singalong to tower of terror
3) MK: from space mountain to splash mountain
4) AK: from kilimanjaro safari to dinosaur

I know someone with more knowledge will have an answer. I'm old so it feel like a million miles to me. But, to be serious, we normally walk around 7 miles or so, a day. I'm sure that's a lot less than most do.

Soarin' to test track is .3 mi (according to google maps)
Frozen to ToT - .4 mi
Space to Splash - .4 mi
Dinosaur to Safari - .4 mi

Was a little tricky, but once I figured out how to make it do the directions in-park (instead of using roads around the park) it was easy. Fun too!

OK - now back to work :P

Just a tip: if you want to get from Space to Splash (especially when crowds are heavy) without feeling like a salmon swimming upstream through the Fantasyland bottleneck, I recommend walking the short path from Tomorrowland to the Fantasyland Station of the WDW Railroad, and then riding the train to the Frontierland Station, which exits right next to Splash. :)

Yes
It doesn't seem like it on the maps, but the pavilions on both sides of Future World in Epcot are actually packed in VERY close together. Going from ride to ride on one half is no big deal.

we were eating Fish and Chips at the World showcase.. and my kid called me from Mexico on the other side of the lake.. and I said.. we are eating lunch.. by the time I sat down.. put vinegar on my fish.. my kid and her husband were standing next to me.. and they don't walk fast.. so.. objects are closer then they seem at the World showcase..
