How does fp work if you have two reservations?

Let's say you have two reservations with 3 ppl on one and 2 on the other...you link them so you are all on the same fast pass schedule. Do you get 5 total fast passes or 10 bc it is two separate reservations? I am getting some confusing results while trying to schedule fp and don't want to think I have more than I do...
