How do you delete your own thread?

You can't. Report the thread and the mods will take care of it, but if the thread has gone on too long it will most likely remain.

You can delete your own individual posts within a thread, but not the thread itself. Click on "Report" to highlight the thread to the Mods and they'll remove it for you, unless as Richard says it has lots of discussion.

We generally do not delete threads unless there is a specific problem with it. Although one user may start a thread, lots of others may contribute, and those posts should not all be deleted just because the first posters wants to delete. If there is a specific reason let me know in a reported post or a private conversation.
