Yeh! I met the band in Toronto in 1975 just when Neil replaced John on percussion. Then in 1977 when in UK in there first UK concert I got a backstage pass and interviewed them ( still got the tape ) Alex was eating chips ( fries ) and laughing & joking about the soggy greasy chips, and Geddy was just having a beer, but Neil done most of the interview on my tape..The photo of the four of us hangs proudly on my music room wall.OMG Rush is my dh's favorite band!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Totally cool!! Don't have to explain chips to me! Have you ever heard of an area in New Jersey that's very Irish and Scottish? It's called Kearny and that's where I learned to make fish and chips! Any how your humor and drinking remarks reminds me of a few of the older gentlemen there. Not much older just a wee bit!!!!!!Yeh!
