How different would things be if Walt never lost the rights to Oswald?

What would be different?

Mickey most likely would not exist, so would Walt have breen as sucsessful and would DL and WDW ever have happened?

I've always thought about this and I'm not sure if anything like WDW would have happened.

I don't think Oswald would have brought the success that Mickey did. After watching some of the Disney treasures set, Oswald really lacked some of the humor and moxie Mickey had. He was simply less likeable.

I don't know if this would have changed in time, but it will be impossible to know for sure.

It was nice that Disney managed to bring Oswald back into the fold, but aside from nostalgia there isn't much there to see.

This question involves a Star Trek space/time continuum theory type of thing that blows my circuits. Sorry, but I need to shut down my brain.

Yes but cool time travel like Star TreK FC not like the Vouyge Home with the Whales.

You must think about it Resistance is futile.

Oswald is a spunky little character and isn't as lovable as Mickey is. I think eventually Walt would've created a character anyway so have Mickey's characteristics.

As faw as the parks go, I think it would have ben just the same. His parks didn't come from the idea of Mickey at all but rather he wanted a place where children and their parents could enjoy something together.

Id love to think that Walt would have succeeded no matter what but without Mickey I think things would have turned out a lot different.
