How crowded will MK be December 15, 16, 17, 2013? Am I crazy to try it?

I have booked a trip the week before Christmas to Disney World this year. Am I crazy to try it that close to Christmas or will we be okay since it's a week before?

Never been at Xmas but touring plans predict crowd levels 3,5 and 4 in order for each of those days - 1 being not too bad 10 being really crowded. It could change before you go but hopefully this helps for starters

You should be okay. Most schools will still be in-session and in the middle of mid-year assessments. The week between Christmas and New Year's Day is maddening.

My family will be crazy with you We are going that same week and have done so the past 4 years. MK will be busy (it always is anymore) but definitely doable. Enjoy!

We are going from the 20-31 - I do not care how busy it is.

Crowds are still low and do not pick up until about the 20th and beyond. We go this time every trip now as it's now our favorite time to go and it's not busy at all. Best time of year to go in our opinion!! We will be there 12/5-12/16 this year. Have no worries crowds will not be an issue no where near what they will be from Christmas to New Years!!!

See....Here we go....Let me read this again...You've booked a vacation to WDW one week before Christmas and your asking the question.." Are you crazy. ".??........Yes to both...Crazy to be asking will it be busy..Off course it will be...It's Christmas time...And crazy to be even asking this question..I'd give my left arm to be there at that time of year...Rant over...Now go and enjoy a magical Christmas vacation that I can only dream about.....

We were there December 14,15, and 16 last year. All the parks were fine except that MK was very crowded on the one day that MNSSHP was NOT taking place during that time period. I guess everyone wanted to see the parades and fireworks without having to buy the hard ticket. Even so, we got to the MK at rope drop and did nearly everything we wanted to before the crowds got bad.

I have been on the week of Christmas. We left on Christmas eve. It was not that bad and the first few days were actuually had very light crowds.
