How can you bring the magic home?

Im not going to WDW and I wanted to no some things I could do during this summer to make me feel like I'm there.... maybe a list of things so i could do one of them a day. I was thinkin things like Mickey mouse pancakes but i NEED more things i can do!!! maybe some cool things on the computer i can watch, ride videos and such. So in general i kinda want this thread to be like a list of things for the less fortunate, those who are not goin to WDW this year... =(.... its not my fault i would go if it was up to me im only 16 though, dont have that kinda money yet....or freedom... LOL

Go to your local toy store, walk down the baby doll aisle and hum "its a small world" to yourself. (you may laugh, but I have done this!)

Get some sparklers and hum the Illuminations tune.

At 3:00 in the afternoon, put on your Mickey Mouse ears, walk down the street and wave at people, pretend you are in the parade.

I most likely won't be able to go this year either so i'm trying to do the same thing by having the magic at home. what i've been doing is listening to my disney music/soundtracks all the time (which I already do haha) and Go to youtube.com type in "disney world" and there are many videos of people's vacations there, disney world slide shows, some music videos, rides, etc. it's great.
I also like making collages of pictures so I made a couple of disney ones. And i love to draw so I draw disney characters. I also just love going to the Disney World official website.

I myself listen to the monorail Spiel as I drive and when the narrator tells us what's on our left and right I fell saddend that what's mentioned is not really there..*Sigh*....Only..34.........weeks to go...

download some background music spiels and burn them on cd .. for each part of your house/flat play a diffrent bgm :animwink:

I've had a really hard adjusting to life when I get back from vacation, especially from Disney! I thought this website would be the best answer, what with the pictures, posts and videos you can watch. Hmm... if I were a doctor, I'd say you've got a really bad case of wanting to go to Disney but you can't so you're suffering (D'uh!). If you can't get what you need from this site, then I don't know what to tell you - good luck getting over the missing-Disney sickness... it never goes away.... :lol:

when you are driving down a bridge or a hill..put your arms up and have someone splash water on you..Like you are on spash mountain...Dont forget to scream..

Ride in a car with no shocks and pretend you are in the Tigger section of the Winnie the Pooh ride..

Eat Mcdonalds french Fries..

Hmm i with all of you...i miss disney...all my friends here in New England are odbessed with Six Flags New England! They think it is the best thing since sliced bread.:brick: They all either have season passes or work there....i cant stand it cause its nothgin like disney. i stay home and listern to www.dtuneslive.com and watch the disney channel. This site also is a big help. cant wait till xmas to get back there.... sadley i may say that i might have to go to SFNE just to get a theme park in before i go crazy..
That or steal my parents car and drive to disney...hehehe....until then music and tv and internet is what i have...to everyone BE STRONG we can live until our next trip. (at least i hope we all can)

That's what I do when I commute to work.

I really, really like listening to the "Disneyland Virtual Tour" as well - when driving down the highway in the dark I love to listen to PotC and HM. Almost feels like I'm there!
